UV- VIS Spectrophotometer

Model: UV Pharmaspec 1700

Ultraviolet-visible light (UV-VIS) absorption spectrophotometer is a device for the measurement of a sample’s concentration at a particular wavelength. It makes measurement based on the principle of the beam traverses through the sample or reflected by a sample. The decrease of the intensity of light shows the increase of the absorption. UV-VIS spectroscopy usually used for the measurement of molecules in solution or inorganic ions and complexes. The samples including water, medicine, environment and biochemistry are studied with this device. The wavelenght range is 190-1100 nm and Deuterium and Tungsten lights are used as the source of light.
