THERMAL ANALYSIS LABORATORY UNIT

Thermal analysis method is a way in which changing of the materials’ physical properties based on the heat is examined. Thermal analysis includes methods through which materials are heated or cooled in a controlled way and changing of the materials’ physical properties (weight, absorbed heat or released heat, dimension, conductivity, magnetic properties, and so on)  is measured as a function of the heat.

It is significant to identify materials’ thermal properties for both industry and research actions. Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) and Thermogravimetric Analysis and Differential Thermal Analysis System (TGA-DTA) devices are available to determine materials’ thermal properties in AR-GE Education and Evaluation Centre.
